GT Racing 2: The Ultimate Car Simulation Game for Mobile Devices
GT Racing 2: The Real Car Experience, also shortened to GT Racing 2, is a 2013 racing video game, developed by Gameloft Bulgaria and published by Gameloft as part of the GT Racing series. It was released on November 13, 2013 for iOS, Android, and Blackberry 10 and on April 22, 2014 for Windows 8 and Windows Phone 8. It was released on Blacknut Cloud Gaming sometime in 2020, though the game stopped updating in 2016.
GT Racing 2: The Real Car Experience is a racing game similar to the series Real Racing, especially Real Racing 3 and the second installment in the Gameloft racing series as a continuation of GT Racing: Motor Academy. It provides 67 licensed cars from more than 30 manufacturers and 13 tracks. Single player mode includes real controller ghosts similar to RR3. The single player mode is divided into 7 levels. Just like in RR3, you need special cars to finish specific levels. You can upgrade your car, and needs real-time and mechanical time, but it doesn't take time or cost to repair cars unlike RR3.

I love racing games and I love the top ones Android has offered. The most popular games on the platform today are Asphalt 8, GT Racing 2 and Real Racing 3 and all of them offer something unique to the player. I have extensively played all three top racing games on Android and loved them a lot. They are one of the first games I immediately install on my new smartphone. In a way all three, Asphalt 8, Real Racing 3 and GT Racing 2 are benchmark games for any Android device and all three of them test different aspects of Android.
Note: The Asphalt 8 vs Real Racing 3 vs GT Racing 2 article features games which require a large amount of data to be installed on your Android device. Ideally I would suggest that you at least have 6 GB of free space before getting all three of the games. The free racing games for Android were tested on a Samsung Galaxy Note III smartphone, they performed perfectly. Some features will require an active connection to work properly.
All three of the apps are free to install and play. This removes any pay wall which may block you from testing out the great apps in detail. Another good thing about these games is that they are graphically stunning. If you own a top range Android device, these free racing games for Android will look absolutely gorgeous.
Downloading can take a while when installing one of the three top racing games for Android. Of all the three giant games, Asphalt takes the less time to get ready to rumble. Even though the size difference is not much between the three apps, Asphalt 8 still gets the assets down quickly. I would have said that the Gameloft servers might be the factor but GT Racing 2 is also made by them.
Real Racing comes with some of the best features ever found on an Android racing game. All three, Asphalt 8, GT Racing 2 and Real Racing 3 come with the same tutorial, they teach you even before showing you the menus of the games. This is a great way to ease the player into the game. All three apps were amazing in introducing their features to the player right off the bit.

Asphalt 8 provides an extremely entertaining take on traditional racing. This is somewhat over the top and action filled racing experience. If you have been a console or PC gamer, you will instantly recognize the similarities between Asphalt and the Burnout series. The stunts, the ramming and the auto-filling nitrous are all there to make the game much more enjoyable.
The game is meant to be fun through and through. Some might argue my definition of fun and understandably so, Asphalt 8 is a fun game for those who just to have a casual racing experience without going deep into the actual driving or accurate car sounds.
I hope this gives you a good idea about these free racing games for Android. Now go and download the app which fancies your taste and seems like a good fit for you. I personally enjoy almost every best racing app on Android there is as long as the AI is tuned fairly. If you have any questions or want to race me in any of the games, feel free to send a challenge my way in the comments below.
Yeah man, I would kill for a game like the original Need for Speed Most Wanted on Android. Maybe one day we will have stories with racing games as well. I liked Modern Combat 5 as well and listed it in best shooting games for Android list.
Requiring over 1GB of disk space and a 1GB RAM smartphone, Gameloft's new racing epic 'GT Racing 2: The Real car Experience' has just launched for Windows Phone (a month after other mobile OS platforms). Think of it in the same vein as Real Racing 3 for Android, i.e. stocked to the hilt with currencies and ways of sending money to the developers(!) The graphics are great, though the game starts way too easy - and then it heats up very fast. Comments welcome if you have the time and energy to play through this title - it's big, in every sense of the word!
Quite some claims, though with Real Racing 2 seemingly the end of the line from Gameloft's archrival Electronic Arts, at least on Windows Phone, the field is wide open for a really well done freemium motor racing 'experience'. The jury's out so far, but there are some worrying signs...
The controls and graphics are very good and the physics are some of the best in a mobile racing game. There are car and track unlocks, lots of events to compete in, a career mode and customization options too. The app is free, contains ads and in-app purchases.
These are what I think are some of the best no-WiFi racing games for Android. Each has great graphics, compelling gameplay, responsive controls and are suitably addictive. Got any others to suggest? Tell us about them below if you do!
GT Racing is Gameloft's take on a racing simulator, a la Gran Turismo or Forza, as opposed to the more cartoony style of Asphalt. Grand Prix-style tracks, somewhat realistic physics, multiple weather conditions, and yes, a driver's eye camera are all included. The game features new and classic cars from 30 different manufacturers, including the Big Three American manufacturers, Nissan, Audi, Ferrari, Mitsubishi, and more. There are a handful of standard race modes in single-player and multiplayer, and Gameloft will update the game with 28 new challenges each week.

It provides 67 licensed cars by over 30 manufacturers and 13 tracks. The game's single-player mode includes ghosts from real drivers similar to RR3. The single-player mode is divided into 7 tiers. As in RR3 you need special tier cars to finish specific tiers. You can upgrade your car, which needs a mechanic and real-world time, but no time or costs are needed to repair cars unlike RR3.
